Zarria’s Story

August 2015

My name is Zarria Lowe. I was born in Fort Walton Beach, FL. I grew up with my mom, brother, and sister. I have never met my biological father, but I always had stepfathers.

Growing up I moved around a lot. We never had our own place because we never stayed in one place long enough. This is what I don’t want for my children now, I want to settle down..

I have three children – two beautiful daughters, Paris (Age 9) and Zaharra (age 6)

Family is most important to me. I am truly grateful for my children. I want to show them that I can provide a stable home that they will not have to worry about losing.

What would constitute a perfect day for you?

To be at home with my children and being able to prepare a home cooked meal for them. After dinner I would love to be able to sit down in front of the television with my kids and watch a movie – the atmosphere filled with their laughter as I look at the smiles on their faces.

What is your most treasured memory?

When my first child was born. It was the happiest day of my life because I held someone in my arms that loved me the way God loved me. Both God and my child loved me for me, good or bad, they loved me unconditionally!
